Flashpoint Gallery, Washington DC Nov 21–Jan 4 2015
Workman's first solo exhibition is inspired by light filtering through a forest, wind rustling through leaves and the translation of drawing from one medium to another. This new body of work explores the artist's recollections of the Pacific Northwest, her home for seven years before moving to DC in 2012. Drawing from memory, she also references Japanese prints and old master drawings.
